Golden Nugget Camper Park, Alaska Custom Search   Absolutely perfect!!  We were blessed with good weather on our Alaska tour!  The folks at Golden Nugget were so helpful. Really good skiing awaits you at Hilltop, and get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Ship Creek. This is in fact a great campground. This campground is so beautiful. A lake nearby is University Lake, and there are plenty of folks from Elmendorf Afb here at Golden Nugget Camper Park. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Bull Rock Trail, and there's whitewater on Campbell Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. Lake Clark National Park & Preserve is a perfect local destination here at Golden Nugget Camper Park; playing golf is lots of fun at Anchorage Golf Course. Golden Nugget Camper Park gets very little rainfall; the month with most of the rain is September, and April is the month   with the least moisture.
