Hilltop close by is a good ski hill with a fine 294-foot drop from top to bottom served by 3 lifts; it has 10 runs and gets blanketed by 8 feet of fluffy snow per season. There are 30 acres of skiing territory at   Hilltop, 10% of the runs are advanced and expert; those are the ones the experienced skiers like the most. 90% of the runs at Hilltop are beginner and intermediate and suited for young ones and beginners. Campbell Creek has a category V stretch of whitewater close by.
