Anchor Pass - Tongass National Forest, Alaska   Anchor Pass is a very popular old favorite campground among folks in Ketchikan. At Anchor Pass through the days of summer highs are in the 60's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Anchor Pass temperatures drop to the 20's. Lakes? Sure, Carlanna Lake is in close proximity, and don't forget to explore Charcoal Point if you're here. It's out of the question to get bored in Alaska if you like the outdoors. The pleasant people working     here and a great variety of exciting things makes the visit here worthwhile. All the water falling down from the sky makes Anchor Pass a wet location; during the month of October you get the most rain around here while July is mostly the driest month. When was the last occasion you went camping? Anchor Pass in Alaska is just what you need. Loads of folks stay here throughout their spree to Black Sand Beach. Why not go to Carlanna Lake Dam if you're here, and don't forget to take a magnificent little tour to Carlanna Creek. Loads of fun is at this campground. At Anchor Pass you can distinguish Ward Mountain; you'll most likely meet some folks from Ketchikan here. If you want to hit the beach, Black Sand Beach is in close proximity.
