Wind Creek State Park, Alabama   I've never been to this park, but it sounds like a great place to be at, and I'm looking forward to being there for (hopefully) a great camping experience. Says Abbi Some of the things you can do here at Wind Creek State Park are whitewater paddling, and playing golf, so probably you want to stay a bit. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Elkahatchee Creek, and lots of people from Alexander City come here. Wind Creek State Park is very popular with people from Alexander City. A lot of rain falls     at Wind Creek State Park; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is October. Several people stay at this campground to be right next door to Wind Creek State Park. There's whitewater on Hatchet Creek for all you adrenaline people, and if you're a golfer then a great close by course is Willow Point Golf and Country Club. Such a good choice of attractions and the good variety of outdoors recreation are magnificent incentives to come. You truly can't spend too much time in the city; you need to get out sometimes, and Wind Creek State Park in Alabama is a really splendid location to spend some time. The personnel that manages this campground and the huge number of exciting stuff to do are in themselves incentive enough to come here. It's totally impossible to get bored in Alabama if   you have a thing about the outdoors. So many fun things in the vicinity of Wind Creek State Park, and it is a fun location for everybody. Wind Creek State Park is a splendid spot to check out on a wonderful day. During the months of summer at Wind Creek State Park highs are usually in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. During the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 50's, and night lows at Wind Creek State Park throughout the winter usually plunge into the 20's. At this campground you will always have a fine time. You can run the rapids of Stone Creek in the vicinity of Wind Creek State Park, and Alexander City State Junior College Dam is a scenic location.
