Take a side spree to Cowan Creek, and in case you would like to get out on the water, Rooster's Marina is in the neighborhood. Weiss Lake is a pleasant       lake right next door to Roosters, and a trip here wouldn’t be complete without a tour to close by James H. Sloppy Floyd State Park. This campground is always a bliss. You're sure to bump into some fine folks from Cedar Bluff here,   and a game of bowling is cool at nearby Dekalb Bowling Lanes. Desoto State Park is worth a visit if you're at Roosters, and if you have time, Little River Canyon National Preserve is a national park worth a visit. This place, Roosters, it absolutely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Don't leave Roosters without first checking out Yanceys Bend.
