Timothy Lake
15 miles away
Don't Go all the way to wilsonville for a hotel. if you head in towards portland on the 26, there are plenty of hotels from government camp to welches. Personally if you're going to a lake in the mountains you should be CAMPING. And there are plenty of sites to do so, both reserved and not. There are great hiking trails and it's also full of fish and crawdads. Boating is a must if possible....

Sandy Riverfront RV Resort
17 miles away
We are on both the Sandy River and Beavercreek with full 58inch hookups, 30/50 amps, all concrete....We stayed at the Sandy River RV Park in July with our 3 grandchildren. We found the park to be clean, quiet, friendly,? very well located, and we would definately return! Although there is no pool, or playground equipment, there is a beautiful river for swimming and wading, hiking trails to explore and nature everywhere. A real hidden gem in the Portland area. We had easy access to everything. Thank you!...

I find this to be the best river ever for a beginner white water paddler. It has excellent eddies; big roller waves; lots of rapids and tons of places to rest, regroup and try again....

Lewis River - East Fork
23 miles away
*WARNING* Lewisville Pk to DayBreak on July 2, 2009. Water very low and very rocky using tubes and raft. Had to get out often and dislodge from rocks or walk over river rock. Had to walk from 1/4 sign to Daybreak all the way out and was VERY UNHAPPY. Walk was actually about a mile to parking area over river rock and then very narrow trail. Trails not marked if you have to get out and walk because water was TOO low (only a few inches deep). Would have appreciated uptodate info at booth at Lewisville entrance. Was told rafting was fine to Daybreak. Trip took 5.5 hours and was told it would take 2.5....

...ced especially in the youth to young adult segments, bringing affordable skiing back to families and students. Mt Bachelor saw a 17% increase in pass sales.
Mt Bachelor continues to offer terrain for all levels and likes, from wide groomers, to natural glades, manicured parks, wide open spaces and peak cornices. Also offered are sled dog rides, lift-accessible tubing and snowshoe tours lead by USFS rangers. The resort?s annual snowfall averages 370 inches of low-density powder due to its high desert location and altitude. At just over 9,000 feet, you can see to Mt Shasta in California up to Mt Adams in Washington State.
Mt Bachelor is defined by its setting ? a pristine mountain experience that is as pure as the day the volcano erupted 15,000 years ago. Riders now enjoy 360-degree access to terrain off the Summit and Northwest chairlifts, a five year back catchline program that was just completed August 2008. Now you can pick a backside fall line that no other soul will take that day. An additional 980 acres off the Summit opens up expert rolling bowls and an additional 358 ac...
