Trout Haven
| Been here more than I can count. The kids always love feeding the fish (trout ponds). The food is delicious. For a really good time, fish for your dinner. It's guaranteed fresh(you caught it) & they cook it up for you or pack it to go. A really nice campground with nice people running it. Very Clean....Excellent Campsite! Highly recommended and they even have onsite breakfast, lunch and dinner available on a cabin like cafe sitting on their own little pond. Very quiet and peaceful setting even during the Rally (as quiet as you can expect :))

| Spearfish City Campground is one of the prettiest campgrounds in the Black Hills. It has a creek and TONS of trees and a very rustic feel but with great service and flat sites. Going to the adjacent fish hatchery or city playground provides hours of family fun. I now live in MN, but when I travel to the Black Hills, this is where I coose to stay.... |

I can only speak about Deerfield lake and it is beautiful. The fishing is also good. Have caught my limit of trout on every visit. It's not crowded at all. A very nice place to get some peace and quiet.... |
