Elkview Campground
 | The owner's and employees at Elkview are ALL some of the nicest people I have ever met! We stayed for 8 days during the Sturgis Rally and thouroughly enjoyed ourselves. We actually had as much fun at the campground as we did in Sturgis and riding the beautiful Black Hills. The homecooked meals available during the rally are fantstic! This is a Low Frills campground but they have all the comforts: Full hookups, 50amp Electric, and WiFi. I understand that the amenities are limited during other parts of the camping season, so call ahead for details. Once again, I cannot say enough good things about the owners and employees. We felt like we sincerely met several new friends that we will stay in touch with for years to come! We already put in our reservation request for next year!!!... |
Elk Creek Resort and Lodge
| Tent Sites, RV Hookups, Pets OK, Fires OK, Store, Nearby Grocery, Pool, Gameroom...TENT:We have space at the Elk Creek Camp, plus additional space in a very large, secluded area over the hill at the Deerview Camp., RV:We have 9 full sites and 14 Electric & Water sites at the Elk Creek Camp and 20 full sites and 84 Electric & Water sites at the Deerview Camp., PETS:They must be kept on a leash at all times and you must clean up after them. If they are left alone in one of our rooms they must be contained in a kennel., FIRES:Campfires are allowed at the discretion of the Resort Owner. Our fire danger fluctuates wildly so we cannot make a blanket statement on this., STORE:We have basic foods and supplies., GROCERY:There is a very large, well supplies store within two miles., POOL:We have a very nice outdoor pool and hot tub., GAMEROOM:Our game room is open on request.... |

Been here more than I can count. The kids always love feeding the fish (trout ponds). The food is delicious. For a really good time, fish for your dinner. It's guaranteed fresh(you caught it) & they cook it up for you or pack it to go. A really nice campground with nice people running it. Very Clean....Excellent Campsite! Highly recommended and they even have onsite breakfast, lunch and dinner available on a cabin like cafe sitting on their own little pond. Very quiet and peaceful setting even during the Rally (as quiet as you can expect :))
