Lake Tekawitha 1 PHOTO Lake Tekawitha fishing report {06/18/09} All bass good seemingly hitting everything; Sunfish and Bluegill are good on live bait w/bobber combo; Catfish are fair on liver and goldfish; Crappie slow.... It's starting to heat up at the lake.  I caught this one on a cricket with a bobber, about 5 feet in depth.... Artesian Lake 15 miles away Cat fish like crazy after the spring stocking. bigg fish too.... only drawback is it is a pay lake and expensive.$$$ $3 to get in and $2.00/lb of fish you catch... no catch and release either... come prepared top catch um.... and pay.... Washington Lions Lake 16 miles away Washington Lions Lake is a little pond in the middle of the city. You can bring paddle boats out into the lake, but that's it. There is NO outdoor stuff to do. You can fish while families play at the park nearby, but that's it....
