 | Yes..however there are a lot of hidden tree stumps under the water and you have to be very careful not to run into them however there is a beautiful beach, picnic area and small water sprinkler area that you can use with access to the park area this is a lot of fun!...Wixom lake..which is not far from here is a much better lake for boating, tubing and such... There is a spot where a lot of the boats park (in the water) and just hang out sunbathing and such... Pack a cooler and you can picnic on the boat--no picnic area on land :(...Is the lake big enough for power boating, tubing and skiing... |

The Gladwin County Ice Carnival used to be held on the lake, many years ago, partly for safety reasons, the carnival was moved onto land across the road from where is had been held on the water.
