Delaware Campground
17 miles away
This is the cleanest campground that I have been too, the sites are far apart, some wooded, some in the sun. Lots of lakes to fish from, owners live on site and keep the trouble out. For a truly relaxing weekend, visit this campground, you won't go anywhere else....

Perfect North
22 miles away
A few fellow snowboarders and I work and board at Paoli Peaks but unfortunately, we've been hit with warm wind and bad weather. We were dying get back to work and snowboard but it didn't happen. Sunday, we all packed up and headed up to Perfect North. I r...There's not many ski resorts around these parts but Perfect North is quite nice hill to ski on if you live in the area and you need to ski a bit....

Gunpowder Creek
25 miles away
wow thats crazy...... tree and put back in well needless to say its hard to steer a canoe with one paddle . we met the first tree limb that was hanging over it knock our butts out of the boat .were going down the creek with the canoe upside down . there is no getting your footing . we finally got to a calm spot i guess a deep pool were we could get to the bank flip the canoe upright and proceed again it wasnt very long til the same type of deal happend again this time leaving the canoe pinned against a tree. the water was rushing in were you could not free it. finally tin worked it free the canoe spun out in the creek he had a hold on the rope that was tied to the front. well the rope broke there goes the canoe and we are not in it. tim swims after it like tarzan and catches it .we got it turn upright and notice that the canoe has a hole about the size of a softball in the bottom. need less to say a canoe that has a hole that big is not easy to ride in the water in the bottom made it really unstable we would have to stop and dunp the water out every few minutes. finally we decided to put my shirt plus ...

Great Miami River
29 miles away
Having paddled the 70 miles of the Great Miami, the WW is great for beginners or rec paddlers wanting to have a little excitement added to their trip.  Water Quality is good, in fact it can be better then the Little Miami during low water.  Best time to hit the GM is when it is running between 2500cfs and 3800cfs (Hamilton USGS gage if your looking for some WW.  There isn't too many places in the summer in the Midwest you can find good water and waves, but the Great Miami still flows well in August....50 hole is not much of a surf and it is a porta john.......

Paoli Peaks
98 miles away
I have only been skiing once my boy-friend family invited me and him to go to Perfect North for a weekend and I leanred how to ski from him. I had a blast and well we are thinking about coming here to see how the slops are. I hope that I have as much fun here as I did there....Nice and friendly local ski hill right here in Indiana. Paoli Peaks is basically your typical local Indiana ski area. Mostly easy runs....
