Black Canyon Lake
12 miles away
Black Canyon is a beautiful lake but it is not a ''fun stop'' nor is beartooth glacier. Be prepared for high winds and a serious workout getting there. NOT FOR INEXPERIENCED HIKERS....

Red Lodge Mountain
26 miles away
Red Lodge Mountain Resort is located in the historic town of Red Lodge, Montana and is characterized by an undeniable Western Charm. Nestled into a town with more bars and restaurants per capita than any other town in Montana, the setting is perfect for one of the most authentic Ski and Snowboard experiences in the country.

In 2010, RLMR will celebrate its 50th year of operations and is commemorating the event by offering the best value in the Rockies on skiing and snowboarding. With lift tickets priced at only $47, the resort prides itself on offering “more downhill for your dollar. ” This value-priced lift ticket gets skiers and snowboarders access to 65 runs, 6 chairlifts, a view of seven mountain ranges and incredibly consistent conditions, thanks to the North-West’s Largest Capacity Snowmaking System.

Red Lodge Mountain Resort invites you to come join the celebration and take advantage of Stay and Play Packages starting at only $45 per person, per night.

Bridger Bowl
97 miles away
12 PHOTOS
Bridger Bowl offers a very diverse ski experience with the following ratings: 20% beginner, 30% intermediate, 20% advance and 30% extreme. Incredible expert only skiing is available off Bridger's new Schlasman's Chairlift and on the renowned ''Ridge.'' Skiers and snowboarders who wish to ride the new lift or access this terrain, collectively known as Ridge Terrain, must have an avalanche transceiver (457 kHz). It is strongly recommended to have a partner, a shovel and expert skiing abilities in addition to knowledge of the terrain before venturing into the area which will have no hazard markings, no grooming and no marked trails. Ridge Terrain contains numerous steep chutes, rock cliffs, and snowfields which may end in unmarked cliffs. Clearly, Bridger Bowl's Ridge Terrain provides some of the most challenging skiing found within any ski area boundary!...
