It's the only place I go to locally and so do all my friends and they all agree too that Indianhead rules around here and as far as I know everyone else in the state too.... Mount La Crosse 92 miles away Mt. La Crosse is a great place to ski and is a convenient drive for many. There are enough challenging runs to keep you busy and a race course is available on Sundays. The Nastar course on Mt. La Crosse seems more difficult than in Beaver Creek, CO. They have a variety of runs and a terrain park. There are no hotels at the base but most are a ten minute drive away....
