Table Mountain Trail
Hi, I have tried to climb this mountain, but the there are very little trail markers and the Columbian write ups on directions were not even close to actuality. I am trying to locate specific directions since there are several different forks. You have all these coordinates but if you don't have or use a GPS they are useless. Alas, you can't help me anymore than what's available out there, which is nothing really....

Hello I was coming up to stay at Paradise Creek with my son. I have a two seater kayak that I want to use, Where is a good place to go that has calm water? Any help would be great . Thanks...

Bench Lake
16 miles away

This is Bench Lake in the Bird Creek area of Mt. Adams, Washington. This is located on the Yakama Reservation portion of land called Tract D which was Treaty land deeded back to the tribes in 1973. Mt. Adams plays peekaboo here with Little Mt. Adams.

The ranger of this area, Richard Canapo, stays in a trailer up the hill at the entrance by Mirror Lake and is a good source of local information as well as maps of the trails in the area. Permits are as follows:

Entry permit... $5. 00 for a 5 day entry fee

Camping and fishing permits are in addition to entry fees and are:

Camping... $10. 00 per night per space Fishing ... $5. 00 per day or $10. 00 for 5 days

You can have up to 12 pieces of split firewood per night of camping.

I should add that the road in to this lake is a bit rough and rocky, a narrow dirt road. Be cautious watching for other traffic, and I would not take an extremely low car in here. Last trip someone put a hole in a crankcase of a PT Cruiser... This can be avoided by careful driving! ...

LOAN TREE IS THE BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD TO SEE WHEN IT SNOWS SO BEAUTYFUL WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYBODY....

White Pass
24 miles away
... snowfall and unspoiled beauty.
It has a wide variety of terrain for all abilities, a ski school with programs for everyone and places to relax and enjoy good times after the day is over.
What really makes it special though, is the friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. It's what makes White Pass a ski and snowboard paradise.
The White Pass experience starts with a bountiful snowfall (350'' in an average season) and with the highest base elevation on the crest of the Washington Cascades.
The resort strikes a perfect balance between pulse quickening steeps, wide open cruisers and gentle learning areas with 33 percent of the terrain geared toward experts, 43 percent toward intermediates and 24 percent toward beginners.
Nothing gets you to the top faster than the Great White Express, Washington's only Doppelmayr high-speed detachable quad. Great White can take you from the base to the summit in five minutes.
White Pass is recognized as one of the greatest mountains to ride in the Northwest. Natural quarter-pipes, kickers, drops, cornices and chutes challenge even the mo...

Wind River
29 miles away
Hello,

Anybody who puts-in where the road map link on the webpage indicates and expects to find class IV-V water is going to be disappointed. The put-in is on the right bank slightly downstream of where the map shows the take-out (basically, at Stabler) and the take-out is on the right bank a half-mile or so above High Bridge (where the red line crosses the river on the map).

Regards,
Will...
Hello,

I run this section of the Wind regularly and I have never heard anybody refer to it as Ranger Station Close to Stabler to High Bridge. It's common names are Stabler to High Bridge and the Upper Wind. The putin is much closer to Stabler than to the Ranger Station near Stabler (which is actually closer to the put-in on Trout Creek).

Regards,
Will...

From the steep and deep to the high-speed buffed-out cruisers, from our gentle learning areas to our benchmark parks and pipe, diversity is a way of life around here. With four unique base areas and less than an hour from Seattle on Interstate 90, no other resort in the country offers so much variety with this much convenience. Consider it a buffet for the outdoor enthusiast!
For the third year in a row, we stayed open longer than any other resort in the state, this season through Memorial Day. What can we say? We love spring skiing as much as you do!
So if you're looking for a true escape this winter, look no further than The Summit.
Just around the corner...

Stephens Pass

Stevens has a wide diversity of trails and runs that suits every riding style. From beginner to expert and for those terrain park junkies Stevens has you covered. I think what's special about Stevens is you can find your own little part of the mountain which is all yours, I have 4-5 little runs that cross between trails and off-piste that are all mine. Also the snow is crazy good, powder almost all the time. My favorite runs are Orion, some tree skiing near wall street, and right above the power lines. Stevens also has some pretty sweet out of bounds stuff to so check it out...

Mission Ridge
98 miles away
What makes Mission Ridge Ski & Board Resort different from other ski areas in Washington?
It could be our combination of 300 days of sunshine annually, dry snow and wide open spaces. Located just 12 miles south of Wenatchee, Mission Ridge has more than 36 designated runs spread over 2,000 acres of trails, chutes, groomers, and bowls with a thrilling 2,250 vertical drop. It could be our snowmaking system that covers 66 acres top to bottom fueled by an 18 million gallon reservoir guaranteeing an early opening every year. It could be the high speed quad ride that takes you to the summit where you see panoramic views of Mt. Rainier, Mt. Stuart, Mt. Adams, The Enchantments and the majestic Columbia River winding through the valley below.
Come for an exceptional winter mountain experience that could last you a lifetime. ...
