Chepeta Lake
 | 12 miles away Chepeta is a very hit or miss lake. Fishing can be absolutely dead one day and sweet the next. The water was crazy low two summers ago and there may not even be a lot of fish left unless they've planted it since. Worth the trip though -- if one lake is cold another will be hot.... |
Beaver Lake
 | 13 miles away Nice bows. Much less traveled than Whitney, next door. The real fishin' is 2 miles away though.... |
Little Elk Lake

We did see a couple of 4WD Trucks headed up too. Good scenery up top. I'd like to camp there and hang out. We didn't fish. It doesn't look really good for that.... |

Since dining is truly one of the most enjoyed aspects of our guests? time at Deer Valley, two of our biggest projects for 2008/2009 were replacing the existing Cushing?s Cabin with a larger and updated model and also remodeling Empire Canyon Lodge. We?re also very proud of the fact that we?ve invested in 50 cabins that will house 200 of our seasonal employees at the nearby River?s Edge Resort at Deer Park. That more than doubles our seasonal work force housing capacity.? Improvements at Deer Valley Resort for the 2008/2009 ski season include: Re... |
