Chepeta Lake Chepeta is a very hit or miss lake.  Fishing can be absolutely dead one day and sweet the next.  The water was crazy low two summers ago and there may not even be a lot of fish left unless they've planted it since.  Worth the trip though -- if one lake is cold another will be hot.... Little Elk Lake That's a pretty tough road to get there. I'd say about 4 miles in, but lots of big rocks. Great views though. We took ATV's up and it was a fairly unremarkable ride. We did see a couple of 4WD Trucks headed up too. Good scenery up top. I'd like to camp there and hang out. We didn't fish. It doesn't look really good for that.... Beaver Lake 15 miles away Nice bows. Much less traveled than Whitney, next door. The real fishin' is 2 miles away though.... Craig Lake 17 miles away Craig lake was named by my dad in honor of his deceased son when he was employed by the Utah fish and game in about 1960....The man who named Craig lake is Max North....
