Lutsen 57 miles away Lutsen is not just a good ski area, it's the only real skia area around really. It's almost twice as high ar any other area within a reasonable distance. It has a great variety of runs for all levels.... For the Midwest only Lutsen in Minn. can be compared! The vertical keeps you challenged unlike the resorts in the U.P. and the rest of the Midwest!
