Lost Valley Reservoir
 | 1 PHOTO When we were there in September the water was very low.We didnt have to much luck fishing but I seen a couple people that caught one or two. It's a nice little lake but has a lot of bees and cattle were running all through the camp grounds. We even had a bull that was throwing up dirt and stomping his feet like he wanted to charge us. I don't know why in a forestry campground they would allow this where people camp. Anyway if you can put up with that go for it.We wont be going back.... |

Brundage Mountain
 | 20 miles away 7 PHOTOS ...t Snow in Idaho. A short eight-mile drive from McCall, Brundage has been a favorite of Idahoans for over 46 years. Corduroy lovers rave about the resort's wide, expertly groomed runs, while their powder-hungry pals can easily hop off-trail into endless glades stuffed with feather-light fluff. A mid-week visit to Brundage Mountain is all it takes to understand the resort's long-time claim that it is 'Uncrowded, Unspoiled, and Unbelievable'. Frequent visitors know it's easier to find a fresh line than a lift line at Brundage on a weekday. With an average of 325 inches of annual snowfall, the powder days are plentiful. Clear skies reveal sweeping views of Payette Lake & McCall off one crest, and endless mountain scenery reaching all the way to Oregon's Blue Mountains off the opposite side. The only challenge is deciding how long to savor the natural beauty before plunging back in for more terrific turns. Fortunately, with 1,800 vertical feet and more than 1,500 acres of in-bound terrain, there's plenty of time to enjoy both the snow and the spectacular scenery. Weekends and ... |
