San Juan River - East Fork
24 miles away
I am a very close relative of the land owners for a significant portion of the East Fork. There is a couple of miles of river that is private land. Using the river or the land without authorization is tresspassing and is illegal. I am by no means giving you permission to use it. I am simply stating the facts. Please respect the property line and stay on public lands. Other than that enjoy your time in CO and happy rafting....

...l for the mountains.
Adding to Telluride's reputation for legendary terrain, the resort is thrilled to announce the opening of Revelation Bowl. This spectacular European-style terrain, located directly off the back side of famous Gold Hill, will be served by a new quad lift. Situated above tree line, the natural, wide-open bowl offers advanced and expert skiing in an unbelievably scenic setting.
The opening of Revelation Bowl is just part of Telluride's incredible expansion this year. Public hike-to access in Black Iron Bowl, Palmyra Peak and Gold Hill Chutes 6-10 opened to rave reviews in January. All told, the resort has expanded by nearly 400 acres, offering the most stunning skiing and riding on the continent over its 2000 acres.
Telluride effortlessly mingles urban sophistication, historic charm and mountain spirit.
The destination offers over 50 restaurants, bars and coffee shops. For aprŠs ski try Gorrono Ranch mid-mountain, Allred's or the turn-of-the-century Sheridan Bar on Main Street.

Additional Terrain
On-mountain improvements will include expanded terrain off the Headwall Lift into the Teocalli Bowl area into what is known as Teo-2 and Teo-2.5 adding additional expert terrain to the mix. CBMR's commitment to providing world class terrain park and pipe facilities continues with the addition of new and expanded features in the DC Terrain Park and the addition of a completely new intermediate terrain park.
Trail maintenance is also a top priority this summer with brush cutting and mowing work on the mountain's trails including the ''Extreme Limits'' taking place. The upgrades are all part of the Muellers' mission to continue to enhance CBMR as a family-friendly, guest oriented and aesthetically pleasing resort. ''We want to raise the bar again and continue to ensure that we deliver the best overall resort experience for our guests.'' said Tim Mueller.
The Plan Continues

Monarch

...nd friendly people are two of our strongest attributes. You can walk from your car right to the lifts, prices are reasonable, and the runs flow naturally back to the base area. At Monarch you'll lose the crowds but not your friends.
Monarch is a family favorite because of great snow conditions and easy access to the mountain. Having one base area makes it convenient to drop off the little ones in the Children's Center, pick-up rental equipment, sign up for ski school and get on the slopes in a timely manner. Lift lines are a rarity and you will regularly find ski runs to yourself.
Looking for great powder, spectacular views, 1000+ acres of expert terrain, steeps, trees, cliffs, and bowls? You found it with Monarch Mountain. Check out the 130 acres of hike-to terrain in Mirkwood Basin from the top of the Breezeway Lift. Monarch Mountain Snowcat Tours offers some of the best Snowcat skiing in the state-guests enjoy skiing/riding in closely spaced trees, variable snow conditions and extremely steep slopes.
