Birch Grove Campground This is a great place to go camping. Very friendly camper, owners Brain & Jean are wonderful. They have the best burgers!!!!!!!!!!!! There are lots of great trails from the campground....We have enjoyed our weekends at this campground ... everyone is very friendly and helpful. The owners are great.... Totogatic River 24 miles away Water levels must be high to do the Upper Totogatic. Otherwise you'll be dragging your canoe over rocks. But it's very wild and remote. Encampment River 28 miles away this river is completely within a privetly owned piece of property, and vistors are not welcomed. no parking is available for over 2 miles, water flow is very inconsistant...
