Note that there are several apple trees along the way. Finally, you pass through Sturgeon Bay on the way to Potowatomi State Park. Buy your food for the evening at one of the locally owned groceries. Then on to Potowotomi State Park.
In the summer, getting a reservation at Potowotomi is nearly impossible PLUS, the Wisconsin DNR gifted all camp-site the reservation business to a single private company that charges nearly as much for the reservation as for the campsite.
