Lake Samish Terrace Park is 8 minutes from Bellingham Washington.  It is a short stroll to Lake Samish and is a designated RV park.  Amenities include a dock, lake side recreation, fishing, boating.  It is meticulously maintained among evergreen trees and green lawns.  The park offers a resting spot for travelers venturing to the many lakes, mountains, bay water front, small towns for shopping and excellent eating, golfing and Mt. Baker activities....

Brennan Pond
17 miles away
Went here for the first time 07/05/08. Disgusting. Trash everywhere. Trees hacked up for pole props. Trot line in water. Went back later and cleaned up. Come on people, get some responsibility!...

Lake Goss
19 miles away
That green scum people were worried about is off the lake now. Maybe the cold killed it, or it ran out of food?
Anyway, I just took a look at it and the scum is gone....

Alpental
89 miles away
Really good gets tons of snow but almost always wet has some very steep runs which are great and has some cliffs that are my size and some so i can learn...

From the steep and deep to the high-speed buffed-out cruisers, from our gentle learning areas to our benchmark parks and pipe, diversity is a way of life around here. With four unique base areas and less than an hour from Seattle on Interstate 90, no other resort in the country offers so much variety with this much convenience. Consider it a buffet for the outdoor enthusiast!
For the third year in a row, we stayed open longer than any other resort in the state, this season through Memorial Day. What can we say? We love spring skiing as much as you do!
So if you're looking for a true escape this winter, look no further than The Summit.
Just around the corner...
...A MILLION MILES AWAY!...

Stephens Pass
93 miles away

Stevens has a wide diversity of trails and runs that suits every riding style. From beginner to expert and for those terrain park junkies Stevens has you covered. I think what's special about Stevens is you can find your own little part of the mountain which is all yours, I have 4-5 little runs that cross between trails and off-piste that are all mine. Also the snow is crazy good, powder almost all the time. My favorite runs are Orion, some tree skiing near wall street, and right above the power lines. Stevens also has some pretty sweet out of bounds stuff to so check it out...
