In addition to campers, Timberland RV is home to ducks, crows, pigeons, woodpeckers, blue jays, robins and sometimes a goose or even a swan and numerous other birds, including the heron (crane). Ya, I own a piece of land that you floated past right after you get out of Schafer park --- has been in my family for near 4 generations now....
I floated down from the bridge at Kelley road on an intertube, it was very relaxing and there were very few rapids, this of course is during the Summer and I wouldnt recomend going in the Winter, the river gets about 7 feet higher in the Winter... |
