...is army from crossing to the other side. He was forced to camp under the large Oak tree on the ranch for four days until the river level subsided to allow him to cross. This Oak tree has been named The Santa Ana Oak and is estimated to be over 600 years old. It has a diameter of over 12 feet at its base and is considered one of the oldest Live Oak trees in America.
