Camp Riverview Absolutely loved Camp Riverview. The grounds were very clean (very clean!) Everyone was having a good time, and others were considerate of other campers. The water was down, but there were plenty of deeper water places to swim. The staff was very nice and helpful. The little store was a great find for the kids. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay. We will be back....My family has been coming to this camp site for over 15 years. We love and we always come back for more...I've been coming to Camp Riverview since I was 8 years old. I'm 28 now and love bringing my kids to enjoy the river. It has a nice cool breeze and the nights can't be more peaceful. The water has shallow parts for the small kids and plenty of action for the adults.... Dry Frio River 14 miles away Where is twilight falls on the drt frio river?... Hondo Creek 27 miles away Hondo Creek from the 2nd FM 462 crossing south has no running water except during flash floods.  Water flows mainly underground.  There is some running water much farther north, but very little. Forgot to mention the numrous fences that cross the creek. ...
