Lakeside RV Resort and Marina
 | Nice campground. However I would hold off until all construction has been completed. Great prices and nice scenery. One problem was that probably due to construction the ants were out in force. Once completed it will be one of the nicest parks on the north side of the lake.......irectly on the shores of Lake Livingston, the second largest lake in Texas. With a full one-half mile of shoreline, Lakeside's guests are amazed to find such serenity and natural beauty surrounding the lake.
Silhouettes of majestic palm trees along the shore highlight the view from our brand new Marina! We feature 40 covered slips; all with electric sling lifts, water and electric service. We offer reasonable rates for daily, weekly or monthly rentals. If you're feeling lucky, you can make your way to our fishing pier to cast your line for Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Striped Bass, and various other species.

Carmona Lake

I'm not sure there is a public Carmona Lake. Years ago there was a private lake in the approximate location shown on the map, but the old access road is now closed. There is no marina on the lake to my knowledge. Can anyone give specific directions to ''Carmona Lake''? Any additional info would be appreciated. Thanks, Lee Mathews... |

I remember living about 3 or 4 dirt roads past the lake coming from the main entrance (somewhere between Elsie's Alley and Rene Ln) when I was a kid (1978-1979), and the place looked nasty back then, as I believe it was a slow development. Mostly cheap mobile homes, dirt roads and dangerous living, I could't go outside much with all of the snakes that were running loose within easy sight on a DAILY basis. I wouldn't mids driving through to see what has since become of it, but my memory is remembers this place vividly, and not in a good way.... |
