Hidden Passage Trail
 | 11 miles away Hidden passage trail has a little of something for everyone's liking. This trail with its waterfalls, caves, hemlock forests, rock formations and the unobstructed views of adjacent mountains that seem as if you could reach out and touch them make this a must see and at the top of my list. The trail is moderate/difficult depending on your pace. We started this 10 mile trail at 3:30 pm and finished it at 7:30pm with frequent 10 minute stops along the way but would not recommend this to someone not looking for a workout. This trail can be quite dangerous as you walk along cliff edges less then a foot from the trail. I would NOT recommend taking children on this trail. We hiked this trail in august on a cool day cloudy low 80's. ... |
Saddle Valley Campground
 | 12 miles away ...mp waiting on you. We'll have ''pulled pork barbecue and fixins'', get up to hot breakfast and ride back along the west side of river, up the ''horse ladder'', and along Jack's Ridge to Bandy Creek, and back to the campground. This will be a challenging ride, not for the faint of rump! When we leave the campground, all your gear will be loaded in our trailer, a hauled to the campsite, while you ride. Riders should bring a small tent, sleeping bag or bedroll, if you have a small cot, we can carry that also, a duffle type bag for clothes, grain for you horse, a nose bag for feeding works great also, we will provide grass hay. If you want to carry a cooler with your personal beverages, that’s also allowed. We will have a saddle bag lunch on the trail, and ride into camp, with the fire already going, and the barbecue smokin!
The cost is $100. 00 per rider- bring your own horse
