Broad River 24 miles away I have traveled this stretch many times, and although there arent any real rapids to speak of, there are some beautiful island to explore ( Shelton and Henderson). Most all of this stretch is in the national forest.... Enoree River 27 miles away Floated this section 9-23-2006 man this is a good stretch. You a defenitely in the country down their. You actually get out on horseshoe falls road. whioch runs from 49 to 56.... Cedar Shoals Creek 27 miles away You would need lots of rain to make this worthwhile. I would recommend trying other spots first.... Warrior Creek 28 miles away Interesting spot; but it is surrounded by private property, difficult put-in unless you know the property owners, and needs significant rain to be worthwhile.... South Tyger River 29 miles away Floated this section and some more on 5-28-07, put in on 86 where river crosses road. Bad trip...Alot of trees. Still fun took @ 7hrs. The creek where you put in is not marked. you will see the river at the creek....
