Sandy Riverfront RV Resort
 | 14 miles away We are on both the Sandy River and Beavercreek with full 58inch hookups, 30/50 amps, all concrete....We stayed at the Sandy River RV Park in July with our 3 grandchildren. We found the park to be clean, quiet, friendly,? very well located, and we would definately return! Although there is no pool, or playground equipment, there is a beautiful river for swimming and wading, hiking trails to explore and nature everywhere. A real hidden gem in the Portland area. We had easy access to everything. Thank you!... |

Lewis River - East Fork
 | 17 miles away *WARNING* Lewisville Pk to DayBreak on July 2, 2009. Water very low and very rocky using tubes and raft. Had to get out often and dislodge from rocks or walk over river rock. Had to walk from 1/4 sign to Daybreak all the way out and was VERY UNHAPPY. Walk was actually about a mile to parking area over river rock and then very narrow trail. Trails not marked if you have to get out and walk because water was TOO low (only a few inches deep). Would have appreciated uptodate info at booth at Lewisville entrance. Was told rafting was fine to Daybreak. Trip took 5.5 hours and was told it would take 2.5.... |

There are great hiking trails and it's also full of fish and crawdads. Boating is a must if possible.... |

The resort launched a fresh campaign commemorating 50 years of service, revamped the communications department and launched a new website in early November. Additionally, the season pass prices were dramatically reduced especially in the youth to young adult segments, bringing affordable skiing back to families and students. Mt Bachelor saw a 17% increase in pass sales. Mt Bachelor continues to offer terrain for all levels and likes, from wide groomers, to natural glades, manicured parks, wide open spaces and peak cornices. Also offered are sled dog rides, lift-accessible tubing and snowshoe tours lead by USFS rangers. The resort?s annual snowfall averages 370 inches of low-density powder due to its high desert location and altitude. At just over 9,000 feet, you can see to Mt Shasta in California up to Mt Adams in Washington State. Mt Bachelor is defined by its setting ? a pristine mountain experience that is as pure as the day the volcano erupted 15,000 years ago. Riders now enjoy 360-degree access to terrain off the Summit and Nor... |
