Jetty Fishery 10 miles away Jetty fishery gave a very pleasant place to stay with convenience of easy in and out boat launching, crab cooker and all the people there were pleasant compared to other places we have been, where we have had to pay extreme fee's, deposits etc. and the help were rude and the lines long. If you are looking for a place to just crab, fish or just be a beach bum, then this is the place to visit on the Oregon Coast!... Nestucca River 18 miles away I think that it is great and exciting... Nehalem River 19 miles away Nehalem is great for tubing,summer. Dont keep valuables in cars while on the river Kkayaked last two years in mid june and itwas fun, nice camping. The road becomes gravel part way. Watch for log trucks! Wear a helmet. Lots of flooding this winter with new washouts and logs....The river gets very low in the late summer months (July August and September), and is wild and high in the winter. The difficulty of this river is very much dependant on the time of year. My fav river. :) sorry, no pic to add....
