Sunset Park Campground We love sunset park. Rates are 15.00, and we bought firewood for 5.00 also. My boys went paddling on the paddle boat and swimming in the pond.  We went hiking along a trail to see a big rock that was a part of pilot knob. Love the creek that ran thru the whole campground.  Love the family atmosphere. ... Dan River 11 miles away Hwy 772 access as been roped off with No-Trespassing signs. This access is used a lot during the summer months, but evidently it is private property or someone is confused. Thought I'd let you know this since it's only a few miles from my house. That's a nice place to get in the river, but evidently somebody don't like the general public to use it. ...
