| My family used to own this lake, as well as the majority of the property surrounding it. I grew up fishing this pond as a child (as well as deer hunting around it. Excellent bass and good perch fishing. However, we sold most of the property a few years back. Unfortunately, there is no fishing open to the public. However, most of the surrounding property is now privately owned and operated as summer camp for underprivaledged kids (my grandparents are surely smiling from above because of this). Elk is uncrowded and really fun. They seem to make the best out off the conditions weather gives them. Good, long trails(for Pa). I liked the mini park. The ''bigger'' park made the best of the space. I surface lift in the park lets you session as long as you want, and stay in the park. Great for dialing in on my skillz. Couple of the rail and box features are really cool. I will go to Elk a couple times a year.... |
