We are always listed as a resort with cabin rentals. our 7 site seasonal campground that has not had an opening for several years, so it is never listed under campgrounds. Sorry for the misinformation, just curious as to where it was recieved. ... |

The river is at least 100 miles long. I've paddled from Katherine Lake to the St. Louis River and there is plenty of river to paddle besides the section from US 53 to US 2. The top section, from Katherine Lake to Lake Co #2 is an especially wild ride, and I've only done it once, but the drop is incredible, sometimes like a logging flume.... |

Excellent ski hill to bring the kids to, huge number of lifts that serve all abilities which is important when you have kids because they're all at different ages all the time. There's always a perfect lift for everyone in the family....Afton Alps has so many runs, you'll never get bored. Great skiing for the whole family, mainly easy runs but there are a few hard ones too.
