Elkhorn Creek
I like this trip, except for the portage around the dam it's a great ride, and a good way to learn reading a river. We always go the entire 13 miles back to the outfitter, the second half is primarily flat water but a nice float. ...

Hickman Creek
27 miles away I have been rideing this strectch of creek about 4 times a summer for the past six years. Woundn't call it rapids though, most of the time it is quite shallow, alot of packing your boat. Flood water is a differt story. It's quite dangerouse but it can be done, I was able to navigate 9 miles of the creek while flooding before I lost my kayak to the creek. Beautiful ride though, bring a fishing pole, lots of small fish!...
Perfect North
51 miles away A few fellow snowboarders and I work and board at Paoli Peaks but unfortunately, we've been hit with warm wind and bad weather. We were dying get back to work and snowboard but it didn't happen. Sunday, we all packed up and headed up to Perfect North. I r...There's not many ski resorts around these parts but Perfect North is quite nice hill to ski on if you live in the area and you need to ski a bit....
