wow thats crazy......s stretch. what i guess i should tell you where gunpowder crosses camp ernst rd there is not much water most times of the year. but one spring day a thunder storm had just pass and go over and when we came throuh ole gunpowder was cooking pretty good we went and got his canoe and put in at the bridge thier at camp ernst rd. the water was white caping man we were moving really fast it was great. we went about a mile when we saw a tree that had fallen all the way across the creek we started to paddle for the bank when we got up to the bank i push to get us on the bank and my paddle broke in half in my hand. so here we are about a mile down creek with one paddle.so much for old wooded paddles we packed the canoe around the tree and put back in well needless to say its hard to steer a canoe with one paddle . we met the first tree limb that was hanging over it knock our butts out of the boat .were going down the creek with the canoe upside down . there is no getting your footing . we finally got to a calm spot i guess a deep pool were we could get to the bank flip the canoe upright and... |

I have only been skiing once my boy-friend family invited me and him to go to Perfect North for a weekend and I leanred how to ski from him. I had a blast and well we are thinking about coming here to see how the slops are. I hope that I have as much fun here as I did there....Nice and friendly local ski hill right here in Indiana. Paoli Peaks is basically your typical local Indiana ski area. Mostly easy runs.... |
