Fletcher Lake good fishing on your lake... Lake Maxinkuckee Must fish this lake in lower tempatures.... in the months of June-Sept, forget fishing this place. TONS of boat traffic that just doesn't make it enjoyable to even fish.... Rising Sun Campground 10 miles away This campground is my kids favorite, they love the activities that the campground has!...We will be visiting rising sun this weekend, was looking fo beach area or fishing?boat rental.?Do you do this or have there?... Tall Sycamore Campgrounds 13 miles away What a little gem in the woods! We had a terrific time,enjoyed the campgrounds,the scenery,and the staff was wonderful.Linda and Vickie were extrememly helpful and made us feel right at home-part of the family, you could say! We will most definatly be back, and OFTEN!( hey Linda.....Liz is quite smitten with a certain young man by the name of Mikey....ring a bell to you?!?!?!... Lawrence Lake 15 miles away Lake Lawrence is very pretty. My grandparents live there. Go fishing there it's great I always catch bass. It's beautiful I love going there for the weekends, and I love the view of the lake.... Dixon Lake 16 miles away Good gill bite between 7am and noon.... Hickory Hills Campground 17 miles away i stayed their last summer in my rv. june, the owner is a very nice lady, she tries tohave something going on each weekend, people there were very friendly. summer shower rooms need updated, but all in all I would definetly return...kids loved it!!!!!... Swiss Valley 63 miles away 3 PHOTOS Swiss Valley is a great place to ski or snowboard, dedicated to keeping the terrain interesting and excellently groomed. Snowmaking and deicated staff also provide the best kept terrain parks in southwest Michigan. The facilities offer a full service restaurant with food, spirits and live enteratinment most weekends, a cafeteria, group gathering areas and a separate learning area. Swiss Valley also has very affordable learn to ski and snowboard programs for the entire family.... it is pretty good... Timber Ridge 83 miles away It is not very big, but all of the employees are cool and you never have to wait in line to get on the lift. They sometimes seem to overestimate the amount of snow that they have also. I sometimes wonder if they actually measure the snowpiles that have been plowed in the parking lot instead of what is actually on the hill.... Bittersweet 88 miles away Bittersweet has enormous snow-making capacity and is consistently the first to open in SW Michigan. Their vertical is only 350 ft, but that's about 100 more than any other resort in SW Michigan. As noted, their lift system is impressive, particularly the high speed detachable quad, but lines can get a little long on late December weekends. Their terrain park has a good variety of boxes, jumps, etc. Very friendly people....Yea you guys rock i love the snow...Ahh yes, Bittersweet Ski Area... Michigan skiing at it's very best. The drops in these part of the country are not that impressive but I think Bittersweet makes the most of it. I do recommend this ski area....
