White Oak Camp Ground
My family LOVES this camp site
The owners are so very friendly, nice CLEAN bathrooms, beach
wonderful place...

Vermilion River
Please, do not go past Lowell into Oglesby. I have had a bad experience at the Buzzi cement Plant Dam in Olgesby. Many people go over it and have drowned. Including one more this weekend. Please PULL OUT your canoe to the right, if you insist on going this way....I am from Japan and when i went to the vermilion river it was awesome. Japan does not have anything like it....This is an awesome trip when the river is high enough, its best to go in the spring and early summer, You can also put in farther up stream in streator or  numerous other spots on the way down. This river has beautiful scenery, cliffs, outcroppings, and wildlife. There is lots of nice flat water and ripples and lots of sandbars to pitch a tent or hang out for the day. It flows through Sandy Ford and Matthiessen state park. The stretch between red, white, and blue bridge and lowell bridge (the put in described on this page) also has some fun whitewater before you get to lowell bridge...

Little Vermilion River
Hello what do I have to have in order to kayak the little vermillion river....

Spring Lake
15 miles away
There is no lake at Spring Lake Park. There was a lake many years ago which was used to harvest ice. The dam was taken down and the lake drained. Two creeks flow through the park....

Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park
64 miles away
Raging Buffalo Snowboard Park allows skiers now, they used to be snowboarding only but they've changed. Snowboarders and skiers now coexist in peace and harmony on this hill....

Villa Olivia
64 miles away
Villa Olivia is a great place to bring your family specially of you have small kids. It's like a big snow playground. The slope is not very impressive but it's ok for a quick little mini ski trip....

Four Lakes
67 miles away
Local ski hill, lots of fun in the winter....

Grand Geneva
77 miles away
I think Grand Geneva is where I went skiing last year when I was up there visiting some old friends, but it may have been some other similar place. It was my first time skiing, it was great. I fell a lot but you know, you just get up again, that's just the way it goes. Looking forward to going again some time....

Alpine Valley
81 miles away
Alpine Valley is a very good ski resort for being in Wisconsin, it's a bit more on the easy side of the spectrum so if you're an advanced skier you might get bored. But I love it, it's a great place for a relaxing day of skiing. I come here a lot with my family and we all like it....

Wilmot mountain
81 miles away
I love wilmot, i go there almost every day in hte winter. Last season, i even went on christmas day. It was great....

Highlands of Olympia
96 miles away
Very nice and cozy ski hill. You can bring your kids here and not worry about not finding them....
