Directly across the lake from our property is the Lake Panasoffkee Preserve, a densley wooded, protected area where hikers, bird watchers and naturalists can spend an entire day just enjoying nature at it's best.
Lake Panasoffkee is a beautiful 4700 acre, spring fed lake that is known as America's ''bass capital''. While bass fishermen come from all over the country to fish here, the lake is not limited to bass. You can catch your fill of shellcracker, bluegill, crappie/specs, catfish, brim, pan fish, stumpknockers, and bowfin. The sleepy little town of Lake Panasoffkee winds itself along the 7 mile, west shoreline of the lake and hosts a grocery store, hardware store, post office, bait shops, gas stations and several local restaurants for your convenience. Life here is very laid back and the people are the friendliest you will ever meet.
