San Juan River - East Fork

I am a very close relative of the land owners for a significant portion of the East Fork. There is a couple of miles of river that is private land. Using the river or the land without authorization is tresspassing and is illegal. I am by no means giving you permission to use it. I am simply stating the facts. Please respect the property line and stay on public lands. Other than that enjoy your time in CO and happy rafting....

I was raised near this lake and when a child we had to pack horses into this lake. It is not near any campgrounds, and it's over 25 miles to town, not 18. It gets way colder than 0 in the winter but the views are almost correct.  It IS beautiful!...

Telluride - Unmatched in North America
Nestled among the highest concentration of 14,000 foot peaks in North America, Telluride blends historic buildings and local watering holes with luxury hotels, five-star restaurants, sophisticated shops and world-class spas. This unique destination welcomes you with the same enthusiasm the locals feel for the mountains.
Adding to Telluride's reputation for legendary terrain, the resort is thrilled to announce the opening of Revelation Bowl. This spectacular European-style terrain, located directly off the back side of famous Gold Hill, will be served by a new quad lift. Situated above tree line, the natural, wide-open bowl offers advanced and expert skiing in an unbelievably scenic setting.
The opening of Revelation Bowl is just part of Telluride's incredible expansion this year. Public hike-to access in Black Iron Bowl, Palmyra Peak and Gold Hill Chutes 6-10 opened to rave reviews in January. All told, the resort has expanded by nearly 400 acres, offering the m...

Monarch Mountain is what you expect from a real Colorado ski area. Abundant natural snow (350+ inches) and friendly people are two of our strongest attributes. You can walk from your car right to the lifts, prices are reasonable, and the runs flow naturally back to the base area. At Monarch you'll lose the crowds but not your friends.
Monarch is a family favorite because of great snow conditions and easy access to the mountain. Having one base area makes it convenient to drop off the little ones in the Children's Center, pick-up rental equipment, sign up for ski school and get on the slopes in a timely manner. Lift lines are a rarity and you will regularly find ski runs to yourself.
Looking for great powder, spectacular views, 1000+ acres of expert terrain, steeps, trees, cliffs, and bowls? You found it with Monarch Mountain. Check out the 130 acres of hike-to terrain in Mirkwood Basin from the top of the Breezeway Lift. Monarch Mountain Snowcat Tours offers some of the best Snowcat skiing in the state-guests enjoy skiing/riding in closely spaced trees...

...as vastly improved service levels. The new Camp CB will be a new an exciting themed program that will intrigue and engage kids through exploration and adventure both on and off the mountain. The current building will be taken down to the studs and completely redesigned. From a new entrance to remodeled kid friendly bathrooms and play areas, the entire space will be completely revamped. Not only will the space be designed with the kids in mind, it will be easier and quicker for the little ones to get into the flow and let mom and dad hit the slopes.
After viewing many of the top children's facilities in the nation we came home and incorporated the best ideas into our kids building and day care program in Crested Butte. We are excited to have a great children's facility to go along with our exceptional staff, said Ethan Mueller.
Base Area Improvements
