I fish there a couple of times per week, only because it's very close to home, and there's nothing on the dam side (north) to see except tiny planes taking off and landing. There are no bathrooms, lots of dust, and really nothing here except a few tables and a plastic climbing toy for the children. Fishing is a 2 on a scale of 10. I don't know where you are from, but you obviously don't know the best way to run Frog Bayou. It is not by raft. An open canoe is best. Kayaks are fine. But this is not the Rocky Mountain West and rafts are too big for these Ozark great creeks like Frog Bayou. Solo or tandem open canoes rule.... |
