Rose Canyon Campground has a lake but only fishing is allowed. Dangle your feet and you might find a crawfish. Sycamore Reservoir is even lower in elevation is much hotter than all and a hike in the heat. Summer Haven has a creek that you can dangle your feet in and 1000 higher than all combined and beautiful. Blackberries grow wild and what a sight to behold. If I may add as well we have been visiting Mt.Lemmon for many years and Spencer is cooler than Rose in the summer at least by ten degrees.... Mount Lemmon Ski Valley 14 miles away Mt Lemmon hasn't been open for many years, due to lack of snow and above normal temps. And a forest fire all but wiped out the ski area.... Saguaro National Park 28 miles away We go to the park in the months of Jan,Feb,and March.  We got a copy of The Saguaro Sentinel on our visits.We would like to get a subscription to this paper or pay the postage for the issues in the summer time.  We want to know what goes on when we are not there.  Can we pay of this paper to be sent?  ...
