Most locals can tell visitors about the condition of the creek, as any of us could have cautioned you about the weather conditions causing lack of creek water. Sincerely, Brenda F...I done this stretch yesterday (9/15/07) We started at 12:30 and got stranded at dark because the water level was too low. We did hit several class III to IV's but then the creek dried up about 2 miles before Guntersville. It sucked. If you go, leave in the morning and make sure the water level is up....
